Uh-oh.

I don't even like this pairing (actually Luffy x Nami is the only OP pairing I don't like...), but I honestly can't remember what made me draw this. In fact I only dislike the "normal" version, if a gender swap of either (or both) of them is involved I'm perfectly fine with the pairing (man I love Ivankov).

I guess that part of my hate stems from the fact that even if there's completely no romance in One piece, there are still people who keep insisting that LuNa is in the manga and Nami's somehow more special to Luffy than the other straw hats, since he gave his hat to her in so-and-so situation. They must all be some sort of hidden messages from the author that he intends to pair them, even if he has repeatedly said that he won't draw romance in OP.

About the picture: I really liked the sketch for the second picture, but then my Photoshop started being weird and I had to colour it in PSPX (which isn't nearly as good), so I'm not too happy with the outcome. But I like how Luffyko's face and left hand turned out in that one. The yaoi picture obviously isn't that good, since I can't draw males. The yuri one was supposed to be more... questionable, but then I decided to go for a more "safe" thing.

if the mangaka says there's not gonna be any romance, then how come you guys insist on there being pairings? obviously there arent gonna be any because the artist hasn't set up the manga that way.
