I'm a big fan of dress ups, and I've always wanted to make one. I chose Nami from One piece. She's not my favourite character, but she had so many clothes that I just had to choose her. My parents promised that they'll give me a flash program for christmas present, so I started drawing clothes already in November, planning to paste them to flash later. When I finally got the flash, I had drawn over 300 items in Pant Shop pro. Then I noticed I couldn't move them to flash, so I had to draw everything again (I was quite pissed...). So now don't tell me "you should have pressed button X which was just under your nose" because then I'll go nuts.
Because I had to draw everything twice, this took two months. But actually I'm quite happy I had to do that, because these new clothes (drawn in flash) look a lot better than the old ones. I like especially the blue & white kimono.
About the clothes: They're all from the show One piece. My work began with roaming over the Internet and looking for pictures of Nami (that was wery fun). So she's worn all these in some occasions. The only exception are the socks. I made almost all them myself, 'cause I thought "I've made her like 50 shirts and she has only one pair of socks", so I made 10 more.
This is my first dress up, or actually the first time I've done anything with Flash. So no background music or preloader, because I have no idea how to add them. I'm sorry it's so messy, I tried to arrange the clothes so you could see everything.
Because I don't know even the basics of Flash, I had to use a tutorial. 's tutorial was a big help (or I couldn't have done anything without it or some other tutorial).
I'll probably make another dress up some day, but whatever happens, it will NOT be this big.
Well, I'm off. Exam week is starting tomorrow, and I haven't read at all...
[EDIT] Added some clothes and tried making a preloader. Hope it will work... ---Okay, it worked. I'll add more clothes as they come out *still waiting for the colours to TB clothes*. I even added some dresses she wore as a kid in a flashback (and they were shown for like 2 seconds...)

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
