A lot of people call my designs gym leaders and I don't exactly like that, since I'm trying to design something that could be the female player character instead. If I was aiming at the "gym leader" look I would have a completely different approach (for example, Ariel would have a swimsuit etc.) But quite frankly it's probably my own fault, without bags they possibly didn't remind the player characters at all (?). But this time they have bags so please don't call them gym leaders. Also, please comment something about the picture and not just list what pokemon you want them to have.
More thoughts on the characters on my Website, in "Drawings" -> "Pokemon style characters".
Not planning redesigns for the other characters. Also, I don't need suggestions or requests on who I should draw; I can decide that on my own.
Snow White, from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
Aurora, from Sleeping Beauty
Ariel, from the Little Mermaid
Belle, from Beauty and the Beast
Jasmine, from Aladdin
Mulan ZOMG SHE'S NOT A PRINCESS!!1 - I know. Please keep your besserwisser comments on this to yourself, it's very tiring to see them on practically every Disney Princess picture with Mulan included.
Tiana, from the Princess and the Frog
Charlotte la Bouff, from the Princess and the Frog (she is in because.)
Rapunzel, from Tangled
Mérida, from Brave
Vanellope von Schweetz, from Wreck-it-Ralph
Anna, from Frozen
Awesome Pokémon Trainers you draw, I think I like it.
Just saying, in Jasmines design her earrings and necklace are rather symbolic to her as in all 3 Aladdin movies, even thought she changes outfits she still wears them. Her design also doesn't look like pajamas to me.
Sorry to bother but I thought I should mention this.
Well I guess the face it you put those earring on someone else, they're gonna know (If they ever seen her that is, cuz I know people that have never watched a Disney movies before) Oh this is that Jasmine girl. But your most likely right on the lazy animators part.
It's okay I guess if she looks tomboyish because she punched a bad guy in their last movie (Aladdin and the king of thieves) Which certainly surprised my brother and I. However the outfit in that movie....was pink.
(Speaking of, it would be really nice to have a Disney Princess movie about a stuck-up spoiled princess give up her title at the end of the movie for someone else and become a commoner.)
(And doesn't Disney already have quite a lot of ex-princesses? Charlotte, Vanellope(becomes President), Elsa(becomes Queen)... I bet there's more o' 'em somewhere!)
Also, I didn't really notice it before, but yeah, the bags really work! I can't even imagine them as anything BUT Female Players!
