I really should have better things to do, but right now I have this irresistible urge to draw more pokemon princesses. I've even watched bad animated movies solely because it has a princess for me to draw in it (like Mulan 2. Or Princess and the Goblin or Ferngully that didn't even have a princess and that thus wasted over an hour of my time.) But here are some Disney princesses for you, the Mulan2 princesses and the new Sofia girl and her stepsister will be on the sixth installment, and Ariel's sisters... some time later. After that I think I've managed to cover all the Disney princesses I want to draw.
Q: What about _____? Will you draw her? A: I don't know. Please don't ask. Q: I shall request/suggest/give idea that you should draw ____. A: Please don't. I can choose who to draw myself just fine. Q: You forgot ____! A: I didn't. She just wasn't one of the characters I decided to draw.
Tiger Lily, from Peter Pan No recollection whatsoever on what she did in the movie, but I guess she was called a princess. I like the idea for the outfit, but the colours don't work at all. Melody, from the Little Mermaid 2 -Return to the Sea- Meh movie and character so I couldn't be bothered to think much on the design. At first I thought that the sequel princesses would have no place in this project, but the collector in me raised its ugly head and told me to draw them anyway. Nancy Tremaine, from Enchanted It took me a while to realise that Giselle never became a princess and even longer to get that Nancy did. Unfortunately her only animated outfit was a boring white wedding dress that gave me very little to work with, so I had no idea what to do. In the end I don't think my design fits the character at all, it's way too girly for her... But that's what you get when you use a poofy and frilly wedding dress for reference. Anna, from Frozen (2013) Really excited to see this movie when it comes out. And I'm pretty pleased with how this turned out; I like the hat and the colourscheme (which wasn't really my idea though).
Your design for Princess Anna reminds me of the new female player character for Pokémon X and Y. Both have long blond hair, (supposedly) have blue eyes, wear a dress with a lot of black, have a strong red-and-black motif... Seriously, their designs have so many similarities.
Love love love Tiger Lily! And I guess I never really thought about it either until you mentioned it that Nancy became a princess and Giselle never did...
To be fair I do believe you did rather well with Nancy. Considering one of the deleted scenes from Enchanted had someone actually calling her a "Hopeless romantic who realised romance is hopeless" that sort've wedding dress-ish look actually seems to somewhat fit her.
