Art dump 4

Went through some old papers and stuff. Some of this is years old and already got rejected from an earlier art dump so the quality fluctuates wildly. Some were never supposed to be publishable in the first place and more like outfit design ideas, but since it's unlikely that I'd ever actually do anything with these I'll just post the drafts for those who are interested to see. So the really crummy ones are what the likes of the Pokemon Princesses look like at first.

Nintendo Beta overcoats - the overcoats mentioned in the description of this work that had lineart sketched but never got coloured till now.

Seth Nightroad (Trinity Blood) - wouldn't be an art dump without some TB in it. I think this is from a lecture notebook from a time when I really wanted to draw ruffles.

Vanellope (Wreck it Ralph) in Happiness Charge Precure style

Korra (Legend of Korra), Elsa (Frozen) & Blue Rose (Tiger & Bunny), triple fusion - as in, fuse each character with the other two. This would be a lot of fun to do more in the future if I come up with characters that inspire me and are similar enough. On tumblr here.

And the rest is just Pokemon. First, some alternate outfits for Rosa, Hilda, Shauna (was supposed to be its own "alt outfit" drawing), May and Bianca.

Then there's Lisia's alt outfit ideas, one of them even got finished.

Then some mermaids (Milotic, Lapras, Seel, Gorebyss, Vaporeon, Milotic again, Sealeo). The Milotic one is supposed to be from a children's TV show my Pokemon world Ariel used to watch when she was younger (you can see a poster in her room in other drawings). It'd be like a Mermaid Melody ripoff with magical girls and stuff.

Then Rosa & Dawn alt outfits, some Lasses and some random bug catcher girl.

Then some random Rapunzels.

Then... I don't even know any more, first I drew Disney Princesses in Pokemon style, then I turn the result into boys, and then try to draw that result in some generic anime bishie style. What's the next step? And some Madoka poketrainer ideas.

Then Charlotte la Bouff alt outfits based on the other dresses she wears in the movie.

Then lots of alt outfits for Rapunzel. This project was like sort of a proto version of the more detailed biographies I've made for some of the Pokemon Princesses; the initial plan was to design a summer, autumn, winter, spring, pajama, swimsuit, formal and sports outfits for each of them. I might end up using some ideas here later if I ever get to Rapunzel's bio, I really like the poncho one at least.

Then a sporty Jasmine, random Aurora, Anastasia, some Melodies that were supposed to go for her detailed bio but by now I don't like the art any more so I'd have to redraw them anyway, and... I guess it's an older Pokemon Ariel in a different style or something like that.

And lastly the "knitting" picture. A few years ago I wanted to draw all the activities in Rapunzel's "When Will My Life Begin" song in Pokemon style. I like this one a lot and it's a shame to put it in an art dump, but I just couldn't figure out how to colour a warm dusk lightning. The characters are Bo Peep, my OC Beta in an outfit designed by J-yeti, Rapunzel and Aurora.
